Amelia White Matt Tile
A rectified glazed porcelain tile by one of the UK’s leading tile manufacturers, Original Style UK. Amelia is from the Tileworks collection and is undoubtedly one of our most loved ranges by both customers and staff alike.
Amelia White Matt 890mm x 445mm is a large format, matt finish tile which can be used on both walls and floors in a light grey colour. Each tile has stone-like veining in darker grey tones, giving it a natural and unique look.
The rectified edges give the tile a perfectly straight edge, meaning the grout joint can be smaller and less noticeable, thus also reducing the amount of grout needed.
We feel Amelia looks its best when tiled both on the walls and the floors and partnered with gloss white contemporary bathroom fittings such as vanity units and sanitaryware as this enhances the shade variation in the tile.
Various different grout colours look great with Amelia White, we often use Limestone, but, equally white, light grey or even natural grey looks good with this tile, depending on whether you prefer the grout to blend in or stand out.
As always, we recommend using LTP Aerosol Grout Protector on the grout, particularly if you are using a lighter grout colour such as white or limestone. This product forms a waterproof barrier on the surface of your grout which helps to stop stains from soaking into it and instead will sit on the surface of the grout until you clean it off. It’s easy to apply and should be done before the grout has stained, ideally a few days after the installation.
