Brazilian black slate is an unglazed, raw product and requires sealing and maintenance, therefore we recommend LTP Colour Intensifier and Stainblock to help to protect the tile and LTP Waxwash as a general cleaner which will help to maintain the seal.

are all products of nature and as such, have what is commonly known as “natural stone variations”. This can include but is not limited to, colour, texture, sheen, veining, fissures, density, etc.
Due to these “variations” you must be aware that the products you receive will not be exactly the same from piece to piece. Each material will have different degrees of this variation. Some will be so minute that you cannot see it and others can be so drastic that they may not even look like the same material.
These materials are porous to varying degrees and while some are highly resistant to staining and scratching they are all subject to both.
Please keep this information in mind as you place your order because we cannot guarantee that your next order will match the previous one or that it will match any samples you may purchase.
