Lucena Arena Limestone Effect Tile has been produced in a ceramic wall tile material to offer to mimic the look of real Moleanos limestone but is low maintenance and a fantastic price.
Moleanos Limestone is the famous white and beige colour limestone from Portugal. Moleanos is well known worldwide for its uniformity and is often used in the building industry as a flooring and cladding material. As a wall and floor covering though, the real Moleanos Limestone is extremely high maintenance. Limestone is exceptionally porous and stains easily. Not only that, but it is quite expensive to buy and install.
Lucena has been produced in a ceramic wall tile material to offer to mimic the look of real Moleanos limestone but is low maintenance, durable, and won’t absorb moisture or stains.
No specialist sealing or ongoing maintenance is required with this large format tile. The large size of the tile means that there is a reduced number of grout lines, therefore a more seamless look can be achieved.
There are 3 lovely natural colours available in Lucena range. We recommend warm tone wood effect tiles on the floor to compliment Lucena Arena, such as Native Dark Beige Anti-Bacterial Tiles 200mm x 1000mm.
As always, we highly recommend sealing the grout, particularly if you are using a lighter colour such as Jasmine, Almond or White, as this will really help to preserve the colour and avoid stains. To do this, simply add LTP Aerosol Grout Protector to your basket. Once the grout is dry, spray a coating over the product over the grout to add an additional waterproof layer.
