Introducing to our collection of imitation travertine tiles, Senanque Melange Porcelain.
Travertine tiles are hugely popular and always will be as they are so naturally beautiful. Technology in tile manufacturing is so advanced that a porcelain imitation can look identical to the real thing. Edimax, the producers of this range, are well known in the industry for their high-quality porcelain.
The advantage of this Travertine effect porcelain over natural Travertine is that it is far more durable and requires no specialist sealing or cleaning products. You will not stain this tile if you spill red wine or coffee, for example. The glazed finish will protect the tile from absorbing moisture. It is also scratch-resistant and will not discolour over time.
Natural Travertine can be more costly than porcelain and costs more to fit. Travertine requires specialist sealing during the installation, along with regular maintenance and after-care. You cannot use domestic cleaners on natural stone.
Senanque Melange features rustic, imperfect edges to accentuate the natural style of the tile. The tile’s surface has a pitting effect on the glaze, but pits will not trap dirt as they are not real. There are many different faces to this tile that enhance the authenticity.

Senanque is suitable for under-tile heating.
Sample requests are welcome. But please do note that a tile as varied as this one ideally need to be viewed in a larger area to really show the natural shade variations. Small samples are useful to demonstrate the finish, but will not capture all the shades and detailing in the tile.
