If you’re thinking of getting a new bathroom but are not sure where to start. Our step by step guide to choosing a new bathroom will help you understand the process we follow at New Image.
We highly recommend making an appointment, especially if you plan on visiting us at a weekend. Knowing a little bit about your project in advance will give our team the opportunity to think about suitable options and have samples ready and waiting for you on the day.
Of course, you are more than welcome to pop into our bathroom showroom without an appointment, though you may need to come back at a later date to complete the design process. We’re located on the Granby Industrial Estate in Weymouth.
We’ll arrange a home visit on a time and day to suit you – ideally this should be before you visit the showroom.
During our visit one of our experienced team will measure the space and provide initial guidance on selecting just the right products from our extensive bathroom collections – including bathroom furniture, tiles, heating, taps and accessories – in order to achieve your dream bathroom.
You can supply the measurements yourself, but we will need to visit before placing an order to ensure they’re accurate.
Once we know how much space we’ve got to work with visit our bathroom showroom in Weymouth to start designing your bathroom with the help of our team. One of our experienced bathroom designers will show you around our extensive collections – we have more than 20 room sized displays.
Our fully tiled displays showcase a range of products and styles to suit every taste and budget. They’re an excellent starting point if you need inspiration! Please bear in mind, we work with a range of leading manufacturers and can order in many more products than we have on display.
During your visit, our designer will ask plenty of questions to ensure your new bathroom meets your needs and is the perfect blend of form and function.
Next we enter the design phase of your bathroom renovation project. Work with our experienced designer to choose your bathroom furniture and fittings. We’ll provide expert advice and guidance throughout the process and will make recommendations.
One of the team will create a digital mock up of your bathroom with our state of the art design software. This will help you trial various combinations and envisage the final product in your space.
From our experience, it can take a couple of visits to get to this stage of the project – after all, you want to get it right!
Once you’ve finalised your design we’ll provide you with a quote for the supply of your bathroom and fittings. If you are happy with our quotation all you need to do is pay a deposit and let us do the rest!
We can put you in touch with our approved fitters if required, or liaise with them on your behalf. Of course, you are more than welcome to use your own tradesman, in which case we would just supply the products.
Once the fitter has provided a quote, we will liaise with all parties to establish a lead time and arrange a delivery date.
We will require payment of the outstanding balance when we place your order with our manufacturer. Our friendly delivery team will then deliver the products to your home.
