Ferro Oxidised Copper and Rusted Iron
Ferro Oxidised Copper and Rusted Iron Kitchen.
Supplied and fitted in the Wyke area of Weymouth.
We were so excited to be involved in this project. Not only did we have the pleasure of designing this for long-standing clients, but it was the first time designing a room with this door range.
Ferro Oxidised Copper and Rusted Iron is an 18mm MDF slab door. It is finished in metal paint on the face and edges and colour-matched rear side. Further reactive processes are used to create a weathered finish. Consequently, as the weathered finishes are creatively bespoke, each door will be different in colour and pattern structure.
Our clients cleverly used the two different door colours to zone their areas. The Oxidised Copper is used throughout the main kitchen area, and the Rusted Iron is their ‘utility area’.
Pendant lighting hangs over the island above the Neff Gas Hob, neighbouring the Elica Ceiling Cooker Hood. Two Quooker Boiling Water taps were supplied, one for the ‘utility’ area and one for the central kitchen.
This property is absolutely stunning and we had the pleasure of visiting to see the finished result. If you step outside the doors of the kitchen onto the decked area, you will see the most idyllic view of the Isle of Portland.
The installation was carried out by our Recommended Installer, Gary Keegan (Keegan Carpentry & Joinery).
