So why choose a stone look porcelain tile instead of real travertine?
Firstly, as mentioned above, this porcelain tile is highly resistant to staining. Something which cannot be said for real stone such as travertine and limestone. Real stone requires specialist sealing and maintenance before and after grouting, as well continued care with a PH Neutral Cleaner such as LTP Waxwash 1 litre.
Secondly, real stone is more difficult to install and professional tilers often charge a higher price to install. In contrast, a professional tiler will be pleased to install these high-quality porcelain tiles.
For bathroom installations, why not use the anti-slip version of this tile on the floor? The anti-slip tile has a slightly more textured surface which provides grip underfoot when the surface is wet.
This range really is the perfect choice for your bathroom wall and floor tiles, style with white bathroom fittings to bring out the natural stone effect colour in the tile. This tile is so durable you can also use it in your kitchen, conservatory, hallway and porch.
Samples are available in this range, but please note that due to the substantial variation in the colour and detail, it may not accurately represent what you receive.
