Description
Wightwick Azure Ceramic Wall Tile 100mm x 300mm – Metallic herringbone tiles
A visit to Wightwick Manor in the West Midlands revealed original tiles made by William Frend De Morgan, a 19th century potter and tile designer who rediscovered the lost techniques of reactive metallic tile glazing. Our Wightwick tiles reflect his work, with jewel-like tones, a textured gloss finish and iridescent variations.
Wall tiles with an iridescent gloss finish can create a luxurious look in interior design. It gives the tiles a shimmering, pearlescent quality that changes in appearance depending on the angle and lighting. This effect adds depth and visual interest to your space.
The metallic glazing imparts a metallic sheen or lustre to the tiles which provides a subtle hint of metal. These metallic herringbone tiles are very multi-tonal, so use samples as a representation of size and finish. It is only when fitted together in larger areas will you really see just how impressive these tiles are.
The tiles look stunning in a herringbone style. A herringbone pattern for wall tiles in a kitchen or bathroom can add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the space. It can create a visual interest creates an interesting and dynamic design. It can make a statement and serve as a focal point in your kitchen or bathroom. The diagonal orientation of herringbone can visually widen a space and make it feel larger than it is, which is particularly useful in a small room.
Use a lighter colour grout such as Kerakoll Fugabella Grout Colour 02 to enhance the shape and layout of the tile.
