Kitchens Buyers Guide

1. Make an appointment 

The first step to achieving your dream kitchen is to make an appointment to visit our Weymouth showroom. Booking an appointment in advance will allow us to prepare for your visit and prepare samples, so we’ve got a starting point on the day.

If possible, we recommend letting us know a little bit about your project at the time of booking. It’s really helpful to give us an indication of colours as well as the kind of styles you like.

Please feel free to visit our showroom if you’re passing the Granby Industrial Estate, you are more than welcome to visit without an appointment to tour the showroom by yourself. One of our friendly team will be more than happy to help. It may be necessary however, to return on another day to complete your design.

2. Home visit & measure

If possible, we prefer to visit your home in person before we start the design process. This allows our team to get a feel for the space and determine what will and will not work.

During your home visit one of our designers will take accurate measurements of your existing room and look at the placement of water and drainage. They will discuss the suitability of appliances and your desired layout. They will also offer helpful suggestions on how to maximise your available space.

During this detailed survey they also check the proposed positioning of fixtures and fittings. As well as inspecting all amenities are in place to ensure peace of mind and that the project runs smoothly.

You can also come to your showroom design appointment equipped with your own measurements. Please note, we will need to visit in person to confirm the measurements are correct before finalising your order.

3. Showroom visit

Once we have your measurements we can start the design process. In most cases, we will start the appointment by browsing our kitchen showroom to give you an indication of our best-selling products and showcase our innovative appliances and storage solutions. We have a range of working displays throughout the showroom and can provide product demonstrations so you can make informed decisions.

If you’ve got a strong idea of what you like already, please feel free to bring photos, magazines or a Pinterest board! It’s really helpful for our designer to see your design inspiration, so we can match it to our range.

4. Select products & create mock up

The next step of the design process is selecting your products to bring the look together – this is the fun bit! At New Image, all of our kitchens are made bespoke to order, allowing you to choose every element of your new kitchen. Pick the door style, colour, fittings, worktop and hardware. You can shop appliances in store, or we can incorporate your existing appliances into the design.

Our team will mock up your design on our state of the art CAD software. This will help you imagine the kitchen in your home.  Together we can make amends until we’ve perfected the design.

5. Finalise quote & place order

We will provide a comprehensive quote for the supply of your kitchen. A deposit is required to progress to the next step.

We’re happy to supply the kitchen or arrange installation via one of our approved fitters. You are more than welcome to arrange your own trades people if you’d prefer.

Your kitchen designer will liaise with the manufacturer and provide timescales. They will keep you updated every step of the way!

6. Final payment & delivery

You will need to pay the outstanding balance when we place your order with the manufacture. We will then arrange delivery of the products to your home.

7. After sales support
