What is a Composite Sink?

Composite sinks are made from a combination of materials, including granite, quartz, epoxy resin and acrylic. They go through a clever manufacturing process which makes them super strong and resistant to scuffs, stains and scratches.

Composite sinks can withstand the wear and tear that comes with a family kitchen. They are an excellent choice when re-designing your kitchen at New Image.

Inset sinks are the most popular style of sink we supply at New Image. They are easy to install – all you have to do is lower the sink into the worktop via a pre-cut hole. They typically have a draining board attached, which prevents worktop damage.

Composite inset sinks can be purchased in a range of configurations. The single bowl layout is a fantastic option if you have to clean large pots, pans or baking trays.

Undermount Single Bowl

Undermount sinks are fitted beneath the worktop, which helps to create a sleek and seamless design. They are an excellent choice if you’re looking for a ‘fuss free’ option that does not distract the eye.

This cotemporary design is becoming increasingly popular in modern kitchens. There is no lip beneath the sink, which means debris doesn’t get stuck!

The single bowl option is a practical choice, especially for large families. The large bowl will give you ample room to wash larger items.

Undermount sinks can only be installed with solid wood, stone or composite worktops.
